Radio Award for Adult Education

The "Radio Award for Adult Education" aims to acknowledge the high educational value of many excellent radio broadcasts and to give a medium that is often underestimated by the public the attention it deserves. Moreover, it aims to promote the cultural skill of "being able to listen." Broadcasts are awarded in the categories "Literature, Culture, Arts", "Eduard Ploier Award for Economic, Democratic and Political Education", "Science Communication, Technical Education and Digitalization", "Sustainability and Future Skills" and "Human Rights and Society". The award is endowed by the ten associations of the Conference of Adult Education Austria (KEBÖ). The award for the education category is named after the late adult educator and long-time ORF curator Eduard Ploier.

Television Award for Adult Education

The "Television Award for Adult Education" is granted for Austrian productions or co-productions that are of particular value for adult education in terms of content and form (artistic design and TV-appropriate presentation).

The Television Award for Adult Education is endowed by the ten associations of the Conference of Adult Education Austria (KEBÖ). The award is presented in the categories "Literature, Culture, Arts", "Economic, Democratic and Political Education", "Science Communication, Technical Education and Digitalization", "Sustainability and Future Skills" and "Human Rights and Society".
